The Airpollution of China

    Along with the rapid developments of my country-China, the progress of society has got the huge leap, but also has brought some negative affect to us. Today, human have a lot of issues to face and have to solve, like the air pollution, the water pollution, and so on. One of the biggest pollutions in our country is air pollution. It brings a deal of problems to our country and people in the modern times.

    First of all, the air pollution influences the human health. Since human go on developing the urbanization construction and have not enough strategies to protect our environment. The air pollution problem has become more serious than before. Some figures show that more and more people are infected with their respiratory tracts by the air pollution. It's so bad for human health. The respiratory tract is just one disease which is more obvious for people. There are another lots of diseases will be caused.

    Another part of the influences of the air pollution could destroy the human ecosystem and environment. Because of that people destroyed the forest and green trees. This is not a little problem for us since it could causes lots of influences. You will see it causes the acid rain and damage our buildings and bodies. The buildings has destroyed and people has got disease. If we don't take some methods to deal with this problem, the air pollution will damage the ecosystem and environment constantly.
    The other part of the air pollution in our country would influence the yield of crops. Today, the automobile has developed very well and so many people have their cars to work and anywhere. The exhaust of the automobile damages the our environment. It's a serious issue for our country. As you know, China is a large population country in all of the world. We need a plenty of crops to feed people every year. Today, one of the reasons why the crops yield maybe decrease in some areas is the air pollution.
    It's bad for human, if the air pollution has been destroyed continually. In addition, protecting human ecosystem and environment must be the most important and the first task. That is so important for our future.

The Graying of The World

    Along with the rapid rhythm of the society around all of the world, including economy, technology, and science, some entire issues obvious seem more serious than before.  The aging is one of the biggest problems among the global society. This issue is more and more notable. The government and many relevant departments paid attention on this problem, the graying of the world.

    First, the population move to the urban areas is one of the reasons why the world turns gray. Today, the modern society is keeping developing constantly. So many people prefer to move to the urban areas and the major cities to live and work for a better life. They think that's a better way to get the good life goal for them. Actually, the pattern of this issue in any developing world looks the same.

    There is another problem cause the world graying. On recent trends, 30 percent of China's population will be over 60 by mid-century. But the younger people born less than before. Because of today one child's tuition fee and living expense are very high. It's too difficult and expensive to shoulder a child for many families and people in the modern times.  Since this reason, today many the next generation choose to live by themselves. They think they don't need a baby or child accompany them during their lifetime.

    Other part of the graying world is women gain  economic opportunity and reproductive control. In the past, women in many countries and areas have no say in their families. Along with the progress of modern society, women have their own rights now. They can make a decision with the children's problem. They have right to choose they wanna have a baby or not.

   Today, more and more governments and relevant departments are concern with the issue world turns gray. They have some better methods to deal with it. Global aging is better than its alternative, but to borrow a phase from my late grandmother, it's not for sissies.

Two Generations:Similarity and Difference

  Since different people are born different places and birth time, people are spontaneously divided into different generations by these conditions. There are two generations the Generation Xers who born just before or during the Vietnam War and the Generation Yers who are born between 1980 to 2000. On the whole, there are some similar parts between the Generation Xers and the Generation Yers. And both of them also exist some differences.

    One of the differences of two generations is that using cell phone and Internet. The Generation Xers and the Generation Yers like to use cell phone and Internet to work and communicate with their friends and relations because of that's more convenient and efficient. In contrast, the Generation Yers like to use these new technological products to play games what they like and do some shopping online. They prefer to choose some emerging electronic products, such as iPad, iPod and Game Boy. Both of them use the same communication tools, but their uses are little different.

    There is another area of differences between the Generation Xers and the Generation Yers. Although, they could earn money by themselves, but they have different attitudes to deal with their money. Both of the generations have their own ways to get money. Whereas the Generation Xers are cautious and conservative. In addition, the Generation Yers get money and spend it quickly. Many young people like to use the credit card to buy whay they want. They have their ways to earn money, but they'll spend it in different ways.

    Other parts of both of the generations is music. They have the same hobby, I think that all of them like to listen to music, but the different music style they choose. Music can make people feel good and relax, the Generation Yers like the music as the Generation Xers. The Generation Xers like disco and the idol is retro,like Mike Jakson. And the Generation Yers like remix music and they prefer to like the stars, like Eminem. They have the same hobby-like music, but the different music style they prefer.

   The Generation Xers and the Generation Yers: different, yet alike. Although they have some similar things, but they still have different parts between these generations. Furthermore, the differences of these generations maybe more than today in the future since the society is developing constantly.

Grains of Hope

    Genetically engineered crops (GM crops)  is one of the burgeoning products which has used the new technology to produce in the modern times. But some protesters worried about the new ways could destroy  the ecosystem. Today, some countries support the GM crops, some countries have no idea, and others oppose it. Actually, the global food need new technology to improve their quality and quantity, but still have some important problems to solve.

    There are some remarkable benefits of GM crops which are easy to discover. Obviously, GM crops can improve the lives of millions of the pooest people in the world. Because of that GM crops could increase human eyesight and resistance to disease. In this case, at least a million children who die every year because they are weakness and lack the nutrition they must need. The new food can solve this problem and give the global poor people hopes. The GM crops will be a better need to conserve and reduce the chemical pollution. The society is developing constantly and the rhythm of the development is faster and faster. Some sciensists said that they have to take advantage ofeverything available to them to produce more food, and reduce the pollution. There is another way to protect our homeworld. Also, that can improve the yield of crops. In 1995,sciensists planted a field of regular papaya and two types of transgenic papaya. At last, the regular papaya didn't grow up any more, but the GM plants were healthy and have lots of grains. The similar input maybe give you different havrest, it's the amazing way to help people gain more and more.

    But they aslo have some potential harm for ecological environment and system which have to solve. First of all, that's a strange way might cause ecological damage. When the benefits seemd small when the golden rice was developed. For people, this is a big problem and huge challenge to overcome. And it also could cause allergic peactions. GM food is one source of allergens. The problem as opponents pf biotechnology term it. For example, Pollen from wind-pollinated plants, such as corn and carola will be carried wide and far to influence the other plants. The pollen from GM crops will fertilize wild plants, and the aftermath is serious. It could make stronger weeds even more difficult to control. Noboby has known the result of the pollen from GM crops. That's possible to happen.

    In conclusion, I think it's a rising and applied technology and invention which can improve the quality and quantity of our global food. It's helpful to human and society's progress. But the new methods still many problems, if we can solve them, human could gain the higher level success.

My holiday

    These days,  we had a Spring Break that more than one week to spend our leisure time to relax. I made a simple plan to schedule my holiday because that I wanna a better time. I wanted to have a travel to the capital city, Washington, with my friends then had to finish my homework on time. If I have enough time, I wanna travel to much more other cities in USA, because there are a lot of famous cities in America many people wanna go.

    The first day of my Spring Break, I prepared something for my vacation, such as, camera, daily necessities, and clothes for changing during the travel. One friend of mine helped me to order the airline ticket online and made all of the schedule of this holiday. Of course, also I collected some information about the city we should travel on the Internet for having a good time. The vacation would begin on tomorrow, so I wanted to go sleep earlier than peacetime. Having a glass of milk for a good sleep. I wanna don't be late for the flight.

    This first time we go to Washington DC, so we're exciting. We woke up so early that day and ordered  a taxi to the airport at 7 o'clock AM. When we got the capital city at about 1 o'clock PM, we had a lunch first, we were very tired and hungry. Since we don't know which restaurant is better, we had something to eat casually. Then we went to the hotel to have a rest. The next day, we went to the White House by the metro. You must make a reservation to go inside, so we couldn't go into the White House. We could take the photo around the place. You could see lots of visitors near by the White House and on the street. In the afternoon, we went to the museum to study the history of America. The third day, we went to the China Town to have Chinese food since we would like to eat the food of our country. We saw many Chinese style buildings in there. We found a Chinese restaurant to have a dinner, and the food is delicious. The last day, we went outside and took some picture of beautiful landscape as our mark.

    After our vacation, we were be back home and very tired. I had lots of dirty clothes to wash and some homework to finish. Before I did this thing, I had to have a rest, I was so tired. The next day, when I finished my breakfast, I washed my clothes. I checked my G-mail to see what homework I had, and began to do it. And I'd like to see some movies in my leisure time.

    My Spring Break is almost over and I prepared to study more seriously in this level. During this vacation, I had a nice time. I wanna make a plan to another city with my friends next holiday.

    My full name is Mengxiao Cao, which means that I was born in a daybreak when many people were during their dream. I was born in 1987, and I come from a coastal city of China named Jiaxing, which nearby Shanghai.

    I think the biggest mistake in my life is that I didn't study hard in my high school. That made me to fail the most important test in my high school. If I can do my best during these past days, maybe I could get a better university in my country. I has known the knowledge could change your life and give you better life.

    In the past, the biggest accomplishment I had in my life is that I had got a job by myself when I was studying in my Chinese university. I could not ask my parents for money that days. The first time I can live by myself from child to adult.

    In conclusion, I'm having a new chance to study in America, I think I should be harder than before in my session.
